MARKETPLACE TRANSPARENCY

Last updated: 19 September 2026

This Marketplace Transparency Notice applies to the FARENIO digital marketplace operated by GQ VENTURES SAS under the trade name FARENIO.

ARTICLE 1 – NATURE OF THE MARKETPLACE

FARENIO operates a digital marketplace that facilitates access to cleaning, turnover and related property services offered by professional Service Providers and Vendors.

The Platform may provide functionality for searching, matching, booking, scheduling, payment facilitation, communications, service management, quality management and related digital operations.

ARTICLE 2 – PROFESSIONAL STATUS OF PROVIDERS

Service Providers and Vendors offering services to consumers through FARENIO must identify their professional status and provide the information required for their activity and for the relevant transaction.

Where legally required, FARENIO obtains and/or verifies trader-identification information before permitting a professional to offer services to consumers through the marketplace.

Information displayed to consumers must enable them to understand whether the relevant service is offered by FARENIO itself or by an independent professional using the marketplace.

ARTICLE 3 – REFERENCING

A Service Provider or Vendor may be referenced on FARENIO subject to satisfying the Platform's applicable onboarding and eligibility requirements.

Depending on the service concerned, these requirements may include:

  • Valid identity and professional information;
  • Required business registration information;
  • Appropriate qualifications where legally required;
  • Required insurance;
  • Payment and payout information;
  • Compliance with applicable laws and Platform contractual requirements; and
  • Successful completion of applicable verification procedures.

Acceptance onto the Platform does not create an employment relationship between GQ VENTURES SAS and an independent Service Provider or Vendor.

ARTICLE 4 – DEREFERENCING AND SUSPENSION

A Service Provider, Vendor, listing or offer may be suspended, restricted or dereferenced in accordance with applicable law and contractual terms, including where there is:

  • Inaccurate, expired or unverifiable professional information;
  • Fraud or attempted fraud;
  • Serious or repeated breach of Platform rules;
  • Material service-quality or safety concerns;
  • Unlawful activity or content;
  • Misuse of the Platform;
  • Failure to maintain required insurance or professional authorisation;
  • Payment or security risk;
  • Infringement of third-party rights; or
  • Another lawful contractual or regulatory ground.

Applicable notice, statement-of-reasons, complaint or appeal rights are provided where required by law.

ARTICLE 5 – RANKING AND MATCHING

FARENIO may use automated systems and other operational criteria to organise, match or rank available Service Providers, Vendors or service offers.

The principal parameters actually used by FARENIO for a particular ranking or matching function must be disclosed clearly and accessibly to users.

Depending on the relevant functionality, such parameters may include factors such as:

  • Geographic/service-area compatibility;
  • Availability for the requested date and time;
  • Compatibility with the requested service;
  • Verified qualifications or eligibility requirements;
  • Operational capacity;
  • Service history or quality indicators;
  • Reliability indicators;
  • Client preferences; and
  • Other objectively relevant operational criteria actually used by the Platform.

FARENIO must not describe a parameter as influencing ranking unless that parameter is actually used by the relevant ranking or matching system.

ARTICLE 6 – PAID RANKING AND COMMERCIAL INFLUENCE

Where remuneration, sponsorship, a contractual relationship or a capital relationship influences the ranking or visibility of a Service Provider, Vendor or offer, that influence must be clearly disclosed to users as required by applicable law.

Paid placement or advertising must be distinguishable from organic marketplace results.

Where payment to FARENIO does not influence a particular ranking, FARENIO will not represent that ranking as sponsored or commercially influenced.

ARTICLE 7 – CONTRACTING PARTY

Before a consumer becomes contractually bound, the Platform must clearly identify the professional with whom the consumer is entering into the relevant service contract.

Where the Service Provider or Vendor is the contracting professional, that professional is responsible for performing the service and complying with the legal obligations applicable to the professional's service, without prejudice to FARENIO's own mandatory obligations as marketplace operator.

Where GQ VENTURES SAS directly supplies a service, FARENIO will identify GQ VENTURES SAS as the contracting professional for that service.

ARTICLE 8 – PRICES, FEES AND COMMISSIONS

The amount payable by the consumer for a transaction must be communicated before the consumer confirms the order.

Where FARENIO charges a booking, service, platform or other mandatory consumer-facing fee, that charge must be disclosed before conclusion of the transaction and included in the total price where required by law.

FARENIO may receive commissions or other remuneration in connection with transactions facilitated through the Platform.

The existence of such remuneration does not by itself mean that it influences marketplace ranking. Where remuneration affects ranking or visibility, that influence is specifically disclosed.

ARTICLE 9 – REVIEWS AND RATINGS

Where FARENIO publishes consumer reviews or ratings, FARENIO must inform users whether and, where applicable, how it verifies that published reviews originate from consumers who actually used or purchased the relevant service.

FARENIO may moderate reviews in accordance with published Platform rules, applicable law and legitimate measures against fraudulent, unlawful or abusive content.

FARENIO must not represent reviews as verified unless an appropriate verification process is actually implemented.

ARTICLE 10 – MARKETPLACE RESPONSIBILITIES

FARENIO is responsible for its own obligations as operator of the Platform, including applicable obligations concerning consumer information, marketplace transparency, data protection, security, platform operations and other mandatory statutory duties.

Independent Service Providers and Vendors remain responsible for their own professional activities, service performance, legal registrations, qualifications, insurance, invoicing, tax and social obligations to the extent imposed on them by applicable law.

The contractual allocation of responsibilities does not exclude or restrict rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

ARTICLE 11 – TAX AND SOCIAL INFORMATION

Service Providers and Vendors using FARENIO remain responsible for complying with tax, social-security, accounting, invoicing and reporting obligations applicable to their activities.

FARENIO may collect, verify, retain and report information concerning Platform sellers or service providers where required under French or European law, including applicable platform-reporting obligations.

ARTICLE 12 – REPORTING ILLEGAL CONTENT OR ACTIVITY

Where applicable, FARENIO provides users with a mechanism for reporting content, listings, accounts or activities alleged to be unlawful or contrary to Platform rules.

Reports are assessed in accordance with applicable law and FARENIO's moderation procedures.

Where FARENIO takes a restriction or moderation decision for which applicable law requires reasons or redress mechanisms, the affected recipient will receive the legally required information and available means of challenge.

ARTICLE 13 – CHANGES TO MARKETPLACE PARAMETERS

FARENIO may modify its referencing, matching, ranking and marketplace-management mechanisms to reflect changes in its services, technology, security requirements, contractual arrangements or applicable law.

Where such changes affect information that FARENIO is legally required to disclose publicly, the Marketplace Transparency information will be updated accordingly.

These mandatory public-information sections — Legal Notice | Consumer Information | Accessibility | Marketplace Transparency — should remain directly and easily accessible from the FARENIO website footer. They operate alongside, and do not replace, the following separate contractual and compliance documents: Master CGU/CGV | Client Terms | Service Provider Agreement | Vendor Agreement | Partner/Affiliate Agreement | Privacy Policy | Cookie Policy.
