The client books and pays for the cleaning service via FARENIO.
â˘A NOVA-compliant invoice is issued by the independent professional cleaner, acting as the merchant of record.
â˘The client declares the invoiced amount in their annual French income tax return.
â˘The French tax authorities may grant 50% of the declared amount as a tax credit, subject to eligibility.
The refund is applied:
â˘Either as a reduction of tax due, or
â˘As a reimbursement, if the client is non-taxable.
The NOVA system and the French tax authorities are solely responsible for assessing eligibility, calculating, and granting the tax benefit.
FARENIO ensures that invoices and listed services comply with NOVA formal requirements, based on information provided by the independent cleaner.
